Cookies & local storage
No tracking. No third-party cookies.
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive ("cookie law"), only strictly-necessary storage is exempt from consent. That's all FindCamp uses.
Cookies we set
None. FindCamp does not set any HTTP cookies — first-party or third-party.
Local storage we use (strictly necessary)
The features below need to remember a choice you made in the browser. They live in your device's local storage and are never transmitted to our servers.
| Key | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| findcamp:saved | Your shortlist of saved camps. | Until you remove them or clear browser data. |
| findcamp:priorities | Your priority weights (shade, beach, noise, family, etc.). | Until you reset them or clear browser data. |
| findcamp:notice | Remembers that you've seen the privacy notice so we don't show it again. | Until you clear browser data. |
Third-party services
Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap and may be cached by your browser. Fonts are served by Google Fonts. These providers receive your IP address as part of the standard HTTP request to deliver their content. We do not embed advertising networks, social media widgets, or analytics tags that identify you.
Outbound links
When you click through to a booking or partner site, that site may set its own cookies. Their cookie policy applies once you leave FindCamp.
How to clear everything
Open your browser settings → "Clear site data" (or "Clear cookies and site data") for findcamp.cc. Your shortlist, priorities, and the notice flag will be gone.
